Plus Ones
If your Save The Date included a guest's name, they are invited. As we are keeping this evening intimate with our closest friends and family, we are unable to accommodate other guests.
Children
We love your little ones! While we are unable to cater for them, you are welcome to bring them along should you wish to, keeping in mind that this is an evening celebration.
Cash Bar
While we will be supplying wine & bubbles, a cash bar will be available too.
Getting to the venue
Note that the venue, Vygie Kitchen and Dining Room, is situated about 4kms into the valley from the main road. The venue is reachable with any type of vehicle, but it is a slower drive to get there due the nature of the road (plan for a ±10-minute drive from the main road). Once you reach the gates of Doolhof, you will take a left and follow the road until you reach the venue. As there is no signal or wifi at the venue, we recommend you load and view the map prior to your trip. Please keep these aspects in mind if driving home again after the event.
Accommodation
The accommodation venue on the farm has been reserved for your convenience. The accommodation offers charming stables that have been converted into double rooms and recently renovated. Each room accommodates a single guest or two guests.

Jeanne is liaising directly with the owner for any bookings should you want to make use of this option. Please reach out directly to her if you'd like to book accommodation. Rates are R850 per person sharing or R1050 per single room booking for the evening.

We will also be staying over at the stables and look forward to Sunday morning's coffee and croissants before we all head home. ​

Alternative accommodation options near the venue include Doolhof Estate, Dunstone Country Estate, Val du Charron Estate, and various AirBnBs across Wellington. Due to the time of year of the event and the many wedding venues in the surrounding area, we recommend you book accommodation as soon as you are able to.
Gifts
Your presence at our wedding is already a meaningful gift to us - we therefore do not expect anything more. If you would like to mark the occasion with a gift (whether home-related or a contribution to our honeymoon) or a handwritten card (we're both quite sentimental), we would happily receive it.
